So, what have I been up to? Well, working for one. Things are going well there. I'm still enjoying what I do, and I'm almost at 10 years with the same company - yay!
I'm also reading a lot. I joined a new book club and I'm very excited about it. Our first book we read was Jodi Picoult's new novel, Change of Heart.
What is funny is I had bought the book just before hearing about this new book club, and it was the next book I wanted to read! Plus, I had been hearing advertisements on XM radio for the book... the sound bite sums up the book very nicely "can you forgive someone you hate to save someone you love?" It was a good book, some parts were a bit over the top, but overall I enjoyed it... and it lead to a very interesting discussion at the book club.
Now, we're reading Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen.
So far so good, I'm only about 50 pages in and it has already gotten me hooked :)
